OK I posted in the breastfeedong side about milk issues. Well,k the last 2 days around ds's lunch feedings he starts this horrible crying and squirming, and grabbing so hard with his hands. sometimes he will let off some gas and the stop crying. Or fall asleep and then start the squirming again and crying.

Do you think it is the soy milk??? The last 2 mornings I have had a glass with carnation instant breakfast. Or is the powdered carnation milk based?? you know powdered milk

I am holding him now and it has been on and off for 1/2 hou. I hate it I feel like I can't do anything for him

Does anyone know????????

I am starting to think that b/c that is the only major difference in the last 2 days and he has cried both days. Same time.

Thank God he is sleeping now, and I am afraid to put him down

I think that is why a lot of women don't BF'd. B/c for some babies there is such a food restriction. You know. I had this friend who was dead set on Bf'd. But they baby wasn't if you catch my drift. She would CRY so hard, b/c he wouldn't nurse. She finally stopped and then she said "you know, I like being able to eat what I want to eat when I want to"

It is so true.

DOn't feel bad. Lately it has been hurting again for me and I am not sure why. When you physically CAN"T do it. You aren't a failure. You just can't and I think that is what you experienced. Anyways Hadley got the best stuff, the colostrum. Has you mild dried up yet?

Tricia try taking out soy and see what it dose it is worth a shot. Also carnation good start is probably milk based. Doesn't it say in the ingrdients?

Hey amanda,

I was at work yesterday so I couldn't look, but it was Carnation instant breakfast, i mix it with my soy milk. Not formula.

When I got home yesterday #1 ingredient was powdered MILK. DUH!! I guess i should have looked before making it the first time.

No crying today. SO we are happy.
