I am so in love with this little guy !! I had no idea how wonderful it was to have a healthy and happy baby :laugh!

So obviously things are going well! Hunter has been doing great. He was super sleepy in the hospital and for a day or two once we were home so BF'ing was a little rocky at first and he dropped down to 5 lbs 7 oz. He was also on the high side of normal on his bilirubin level but nothing that required anything more than some baking in the sun. He has since definitely made up for it with his weight gain! He was up to 5 lbs 13 oz at his week old weight gain checkup and up to 7 lbs 1 oz at 3 weeks old when he was circumcised. He is doing awesome with BF'ing and while he wakes up 2-4 times a night to nurse he goes right back sleep. It's great to see his cheeks getting so chubby and some meat on his legs :laugh.

The kids adore him to pieces and so far we haven't had any trouble with that, although at this point a new baby isn't anything out of the ordinary for them. He is still some what of a light sleeper, but it is definitely getting better. He loves being held and that is getting a little worse, but I think mostly it is our fault..... I guess we are just so used to having to hold babies 24/7 I notice us all do it out of habit so something we need to work on. Other than that my only gripe is he has been having some painful gas issues and has only been pooping every other day. He is definitely uncomfortable on the days he doesn't poop and even a little fussy. I have a super quick and strong let down and he often chokes and swallows a bunch of air so I am hoping it is related to that and we can get it worked out soon.

I am doing great. This has been the easiest recovery yet. I have had nothing as far as cramping since even before leaving the hospital and have been back to pre-preggo weight since 2 weeks (although I would love to loose another 15 lbs, but I'll get to that some day). I just uploaded a bunch of new pics and Bobby has the next couple days off so I should be able to get them posted in a timely manner

So glad you are are doing well! Can't wait to see pics!

We are all doing well here-crazy as usual! Kids are around all summer and that is great. Jake will go to Kindergarten in the fall, Ty to Pre-K 3 days a week and Avery and I will be alone! Can't even imagine just 1 kids to manage! No idea how you keep sane at your house! Avery just turned 2 and Ty's b-day is around the corner so we have some parties to plan. It is nice everyone is healthy finally. Avery should be all done with hematology after 1 more blood draw this month.

We have a big family vacation in August before school and other than that I am having breast reduction surgery at the end of July. I am so excited I can hardly wait! I have had my cast off my broken wrist since May 4th and that has been awesome, although after 6 months in a cast it has taken a bit of therapy to help it function as it should-go thing I'm an OT and did a lot on my own.

would love to hear what everyone else is up to!

Karen
