Hi Everyone-

I stumbled across this site today and decided I'd finally join a "pregnancy" community for information and entertainment! I am 23 years old, recently married (April 8th of this year) and expecting baby number 1!
DH and I found out we were pregnant in January of 2006, only to miscarry at 8 weeks. After our wedding, we were determined to get pregnant again. With a little planning, here we are! Due April 5th, 3 days before our 1 year wedding anniversary!
I have background in Human Resources.....started a new job in June as a recruiter. Unfortunately, they were not supportive when they found out about my pregnancy in September, and fired me! So, I've filed a discrimination charge with the EEOC, and have been trying (unsuccessfully) since September 9th to find a new job. Believe it or not, employers run the other way as soon as they find out I'm pregnant. Its harder now, because I'm starting to show. So......DH and I are considering the possibility of my just staying home with the baby.
So needless to say with no baby YET, and being unemployed for 2 months, I'm bored out of my mind!!

So, thats about it! Here I am... I look forward to getting to know you all better, and to sharing pregnancy events.

This board is a very cozy and safe place to talk. Most of us on this board have 14-15 month olds and some are pregnant again w/ #2 or more. We're all very friendly and keep everything positive on this board.
