Men Just Love To Stare At My Monster Nipples!!!
|
![]() My dr put me on lexapro 10mg for my PMD. My first dose made me sick! He said I could take it 2 different ways; 1 tab sid everyday, or 1 tab sid during the 2 hell weeks. He also said that I could probably get away with taking 1/2 tab. My dh wants me to take it daily. I am thinking that a daily 1/2 dose would be the best way to go since I seem sensitive to meds. Do you think that I will be receiving enough to be benificial if I just take 5mg? My side effects are/was dizzy, nauseated, drowsy, dry mouth, yawning I think that's it. Does it come in generic? How much is this going to cost me per month? I did get 6 weeks worth of samples so if I take 1/2 dose it'll last me nearly 3 months. TIA!!! |

I love my boys!!

When I took it, the 10mg made me tired, and then when i took it at night, it kept me awake ALL night. It also made me loose my short term memory (scary) My dr said all that was normal, and they cut me down to 5mg everyday. I seemed to do ok with it. I am really sensitive to meds too. I'm on zoloft now, and it seems to be helping me more than the lexapro. I jsut threw away a ton of samples...i could have sent them to you....

I tried Lexapro for anxiety and HATED IT!!!
I had the same exact side effects Jessica mentioned... when I took it during the day it would give me the yawns all day long (sucked) and also kept me up all night if I took it at bedtime. Emma might have a few other suggestion meds for ya. I know she recommended a few others to me and finally one ended up working. ![]() |

I yawned all night last night! Then I was up at 3:45 am and couldn't go back to sleep. It sucked!!! I couldn't run this morning because I didn't have the energy.
I was at walmart at 6am this morning. Jessica & Terri, Thanks for sharing. Now I don't know what to do. |

I'm sorry you couldn't do your run this morning.
![]() Hopefully Emma will be able to give you some alternate meds that might work for your issue. I think the best med I've ever been prescribed was Valium for anxiety. Worked for me with zero side effects. GL sweetie. ![]() |

Yes... I'm an arcade addict!!

I used to take Lexapro and it made me really nauseated, but once I started taking it at night it was better. Though I was on Zoloft recently (I'll spare you why I'm not on right now.) and I was very happy.

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??

I'm sorry it's making you feel rotten. I would give it at least 5 days before giving up on it. The 5 mg might work just fine for you. It doesn't come in a generic, but Celexa does and it's pretty much the same thing. Zoloft and Prozac also come in generic. Don't give up if the 1st drug doesn't work. There are several others to choose from
