Sorry I have been MIA, gals.

Things at home are a complete wreck. And though the notion of "putting on a show" seems easy to do, it's not. I cannot fake it anymore.

DH and I are miserable.

He's trying to make it work. I've just been pretending to go along with it - for Noah's sake.

It's a long, long story. A sad one, too.

So, I'll be lurking around DDB - don't think that I'm blowing anybody off. I just have my own needs to tend to.....and I'm not even able to handle those at the moment.

Long story, very short is that:

DH got me pg when I was drunk.

I never wanted kids..........Belinda will tell you this much.

So, anyway, I half-heartedly got on board with the idea of having a family.

Then, Noah comes 3 months early, and I'm thrusted into a life I never even wanted.

Now just know that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my little man. He's amazing (and crazy), and I see a lot of myself in him.


There - I finally admitted it. Finally. This has been very cathartic! I have to go hide, now.

Oh Val!! There is no need to hide. You are being honest with your feelings. Not all of us decided at the age of 12 that we wanted kids and the life that goes along with it. And that is ok.

It's just that all of you girls seem so happy and enthusiastic about being moms.

I'm not like that. I love my boy, but I love having time to myself. It's like I'm defective, and that sucks.

I feel like I'm doing him (Noah) some sort of disservice. That hurts me so much.
