I love my boys!!
|
I feel fat and frumpy, i'm as white as a ghost, and I just have no desire to get all goopy from lube, and then have to get up and pee and clean off....I just have absolutly no desire for sex...i really never had, and everytime i complain about it to my Dr's, they tell me it's because i'm afraid of this or afraid of that....well, last time they told me I was afraid i was gonna get preggos...I WAS TRYING TO GET PREGGOS!! Maybe I just need a viagra or something at my ripe old age of 24....

The demands of motherhood are SO draining, emotionally and physically. I'm so NOT in the mood, ever! I'm too tired. Or, I have too many other things on my mind.
I'm trying to overcome that, but it's taking a while. With both my other kids, it too months before I had any libido at all. Even then, it wasn't great. That part of our lives changed drastically after our first child was born. I feel bad for my dh. I thank goodness that he's very understanding. |

I too am hardly ever in the mood. My dh knows that women are programed different. Watching him make dinner do the dishes and make my older ds lunch for the next day is what makes me want to jump his bones! I tend to get A LOT of help around here

*Sigh* I wish that was the case for me. I've not been on hormonal birth control in the last 4.5 years, and hasn't helped. =( My dh is so much younger than I am, somedays I fear he'll run out on me cuz I'm too old. It's a stupid irrational fear, because my dh is the most devoted guy....but still, I turn him down constantly. :*( |

Kris I think that being honest with your DH will help him understand. Just continue to remind him of how hard having children is on a womens body. Remind him that it won't be like this forever and show him lots of love other ways. I make it a point to dtd once a week. Even if I am not in the mood right away just for DH's sake. I have read that the more that you do it the more you want it. So doing this I am sure is helping my body get back to normal. Don't feel sad if he is supportive and understanding you should be proud of him!

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
|
I have to second what pps have already said. I have also heard that the more you have it the more you want it. Also, I know that when I was on hormone BC, my libido was in the toilet. I tried every pill out there and nothing helped. New studies are saying that this actually does happen and that once you stop hormones your libido my not ever come back completely. Thanks guys
One of those great lasting side effects of hormones, Urgh! Sometimes I try and get myself in the mood before Dh comes to bed instead of waiting for him to figure out what will work that day |
