How's your sex life now?

Yes, I'm going to start this. I'm just curious how your sex life is now that our little ones are 9 months?

I'll start...

After having Carson, it HURT for a good 6 months down there, I was also bleeding off & on for 6 straight months tho so I'm thinking that had something to do with it. I also had absolutely NO desire to have sex. Didn't feel sexy. Nothing.

NOW, my sex life is finally back on track. It finally feels good again. I can O, no problem. I'm actually into it (as long as we *do it* before 9pm). I think it's safe to say that I feel like my *old* self again.

It still sucks... I can't O for the life of me.

I think I'm just so worn out by the end of the day that it's too much work. I'm a SAHM and DH has been working a lot of overtime to make up for the loss of my income. Hannah doesn't think she needs to take naps anymore and is now into everything. Oh well, maybe someday it'll get back to normal!

for me it hurt down there until about 5-6 months also, so i didn't really want to dtd that often.

now --- with our house renos/work/school, we probably only get to dtd once every 2 weeks! (yikes, that's a long time between)

but, i do feel like my old self again as far as down there is concerned.

i'm an extremely easy o'er

, dh just has to look at me and i o (just kidding, but honestly i'm a 2 minute girl) so we didn't have problems with that.

dh is also an easy o'er and we always laugh about how we put a whole new spin on a "quickie"

We have a great sex life!!

I have had some problems but it was nothing new. I am not real happy with my body but my dh goes a great job of making feel sexy. It's also a great stress reliever.
I have found that when we are happy in bed, when are happy out of bed.

Sex ... I've heard of it, but I ain't getting much of it. Only 3 - yes 3 - times since giving birth. And it's been very painful all 3 times. Which of course kind of kills the desire to dtd. DB is starting to want it now - for the first 5 months he was running away from me. His form of BC.

But by the time we get DD to sleep it's late and I just don't have any energy left all I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep, even when I am feeling like giving it a go. But we've been doing more cuddling of late, so that's good. I think it will slowly get better - just need to keep the lub handy.

DB has been asking about it a LOT more the last month.

We were doing really good when she was little....he didnt want to wait the 6 weeks....and then it just went downhill from there....we seem to be interupted every time we try. Once Dh's best friend knocked on the door and when we didnt answer he got worried because he peeked into the windows on the door and saw Kaitlyn asleep in her swing and he thought something had happened to us...he kept banging on the door and calling the house until he woke her up. He felt pretty stupid when he figured it out.

We also were interrupted at least twice by the neighbor woman banging on the door and his dad too. People just need to learn to call before coming over. Once the knocking begins....it is like the mood is gone and then we cant seem to get back there. This has of course happened every time we have tried to

lately. Doesnt matter what time of the day or what day of the week. It is like someone out doesnt want us to

Well with BFing I feel like I am still not back to myself. I use to be in the mood ALL the time now I am just starting to get that way (I think because I am finally ovulating again) but I am still not totally back to normal. Maddox is no where near sleeping through the night so I get tried by 8

When DH doesn't stand for "Im too tired" I am super glad I did I LOVE sex

Well it was going great until I got pregnant again!

My first trimester I HATE sex and this time was by far the worst. Now I am slowly getting my sex drive back just in time to have a belly in the way again. Very sexy....

Sex? What's that? Not back to normal yet but I think it's just our crazy, crazy life. Work, school, call, after school activities...I'm exhausted always. And I haven't felt the same about sex since I had Depo-provera 5 years ago. It really has effected me, and it really pisses me off that I didn't know about all the sexual side effects before agreeing to it. Maybe one day when our life slows down it will be better, but for now it's really tough to find the time and the "want to".

Sucks for me (and DH!)
