We appreciate you taking the time to register on our site and we hope you enjoy your stay. To start you off right, we ask that you introduce yourself to the community by starting a new thread to introduce and tell us a little about yourself. By doing so, we can better get to know you. We have a very friendly community here and we look forward to your participation. When you first register, you will have access to most of the forums and/or features. Once you have introduced yourself, you will have access to the rest of the forums and/or features (however you must have 5 posts to view images in the Photo Fun forum). We do this to protect the privacy of our members, and encourage participation -- we highly value both on this site. So, here are a few tried and true tips for becoming an active member here at DDB. (Old timers, please feel free to add your tips! I'll summarize the useful ones here so new members don't have to wade through pages of posts to get the good stuff.) ************************************************** ********** 1) Read the FAQ. It really does contain useful information about our site. 2) Don't be shy! We really value new viewpoints and opinions- and would love to hear your's on any subject! Jump on in! 3) If you see people in the chatroom, JOIN Them! Its a great way to get to know people! 4) It may seem like we all know each other and there is no room for new members, but that is far from the truth. Many of us have been on the board together for years, but there is always room for new members. |
