I love my daughter more than life and i am starting to get the whole attitude thing. But last night the sh** hit the fan.

I decided it was time to sit down and have the big talk with megan about everythingand try to find out where the problem lies with our relationship.

Our conversation started out great. I told her how much i love her and that i would always be there for her regardless. She started crying and told me that she had talked to my mother n law (her mama) about things that were bothering her.

She told her bits and peices of conversations but not the whole story. SHe told her i said that i fired her as a babysitter and that her house was full of junk and that i asked her to lie to my DH and a large amount of other things.

Needless to say my mother n law probably hates me at this point. I talked to her and explanied that Megan was only her parts of ADULT conversations and not the whole story. I explained the things that were said and how they were said and how they were meant. She said she understood and that everything was fine but i'm not so sure.

Megan just need someone to talk to and i understand that but lord it has caused and enormous amount of damage. Then Megan told me the things that my mnl said about me and i was floored. Then today my mother told me the things she said to her and after hearing all of this i do not fell so bad. She said some pretty mean things about me.

Why can people never have a good relationship with their inlaws???

I am at a loss and just dont know what to do anymore. Please pray for my sanity.
