In the five years I've lived here I have never moved my bed to get under it. It's way to big and heavy. What the vacuum can't reach doesn't matter right?
As far as the rest of the house, eh I move the couches (they are really light) a few times a year to get under them.
I am really bad about dusting. I'm very allergic to dust, which should make me want to dust more. But I find it easier on me to stir up the dust once in a while versus every day/week.

Yep - I find that a good reason to avoid dusting.
My bed is just the box spring and mattress on the floor. I have 2 bookcases for headboards. So there is no dust under my bed. I won't discuss the bookshelves condition where I don't normally get too.
I only vacume under furniture once in a great while - maybe a couple times a year to every few years. If I'm in a rearranging mood, then everything that gets moved gets cleaned up and under.

I do dust around the house frequently. But, not under the furniture. I use a swiffer in the living room though, since we have hardwoods - and go "under" the couch as far as I can get it. We have a sectional, and it's really difficult for me to move on my own. In fact... I can't do it. It's too awkward.
Allergy shots, for years, have not lessened my dust allergies. I should wear a mask, but don't.

I dust my living room black wood furniture every other day...and sweep my hardwood about 1500 times a day it seems. I am not able to move the couches on my own. I have not dusted under them since March..I am scared to see what is under there. My bed, we vacuum under it when we flip the mattress.
Haha one of our dogs is black and white, and sheds like you wouldn't believe.. so I have to vacuum a lot but dusting? Hah! When you move a piece of our furniture, it looks like a small animal died underneath of it because of all the dust and hair! I agree with Christine, what the vacuum doesn't reach, doesn't get done.. no one can see it anyway!
