Mommy to be
|
Last year, we made a cute little bed on the side of our yard to plant vegetables in. We didn't have a lot of success with them, because all summer long, deer would come and eat our plants
![]() This year, we are turning that little bed into a sunflower patch! We started the seeds inside and we're going to transfer them to the bed when they are bigger. I was wondering if any of you ladies have grown sunflowers before, and if there are any animals I should look out for this year (ha!)... |

I grew them when I was a kid... my big dog would run around the backyard and accidently ran into a couple of them and knocked them over haha
but that was the only animal I had to worry about.. yeah, I wanna see pics too! And I'm sure the ladies would LOVE to see belly pics! I know you have a ton |

You may have to worry about rabbits when the plans are small. I have no idea how deer feel about them.
If you want to deer proof a garden, you pretty much have to put up a very tall fence or an electric fence. I know people that have to do this if they want any hope of a harvest for people. ![]() |
