this will be a little long, it's of the main floor (less the bathroom i already posted). everything is open so i have to do the livingroom/kitchen/entryway all together. In a lot of these you can see into the other half of the duplex, as we bought a house that used to be a duplex, got made into a single house, and then we made it back into a duplex with bil.

That looks awsome, my question is HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH DECORATING IDEAS?

My house is going to be all white walls when we move in, IF dh gets a job close to home we will start painting and decorating but don't wanna put too much into it if we aren't staying long.

Looks great! I bet you guys really added to the value of your home. Question for you. I have a hard time telling from the picture but it looks like you might have a black chalkboard thingy next to your fridge. Do you or are my eyes playing tricks on me? we've owned this house for 2 years, but haven't worked on it the whole time. mostly just during the winters as dh doesn't work at all from November-March. but 2 years we've been doing little projects, dh did all the electrical/structural/drywalling etc. last winter and this winter we finished the basement.
