I use the swiffer wipes and just go over the shade with that so the dust doesn't go flying everywhere.

There's also a swiffer duster - I'm sure that'd work better but I just haven't caved and bought myself one yet.

I don't have a vacuum with attachments I've used the lint roller (with the tape) and that works pretty good, but gets expensive. I'll have to get a swiffer cloth or a fabric lint roller and try that. This house is so dusty
