Goodbye Corpus Christi TX, Hello Clearwater FL!

Either next month, or in September, it depends on when our house sells... the realtor is putting the sign up in the yard today. DH is getting out of the Air Force and joining the Coast Guard. It's been alot of work, I am pooped already! We have to go to FL to look for a house, but when!?! But dh has to go away to school for a few weeks between now and the move... that's where things are going to get complicated... the timing of it all! I am trying to take it day by day! Dh has so much to wrap up with the Air Force, I'm afraid I don't really understand the scope of it, and why he's not at home helping me with Kayla (still not sleeping good!!) Plus we have to sell his fixer-upper expedition, and a boat with a blown engine. Lots going on here!!

Ugh, I had my first taste this morning of the real estate game. Kayla woke from her nap (me too... I was crying this a.m. because dh is going to be gone all day today and I needed a break...) I decide that I need a shower, get dd set up in there with me, then get dressed, and get going feeding dd cereal, see my cell phone has 4 missed messages!! Realtors and dh calling to say that want to come by... in 10 minutes from now! I was so frazzled, straightened up the house, dd sitting there waiting to eat, trying to call realtors back saying, yes, come, but gimme a minute!! Package up some food for dd, and figure I'll get her in the car, sit in my neighbors driveway, and feed her til the people are gone.. finally get out there and set up... realize, I have no spoon!!! I look a hot mess, but I decided to drive to McDonalds to get the damn spoon and at least sit in some A.C. instead of the car. We were going to go to a play group too today, but the address was still on my computer, so I coudn't get it. TGIF!!!!!!!!!!! At least dh will be home this weekend to help out more. I don't ask him to get with her is he gets home super late like last night, or has to fly early the next morning. Sunday is our anniversary, we haven't been spending any time together. :(

Denae, I'd love to meet up with you and Julian for lunch some day!! Hopefully sooner than later!
