1. How do I embed music with my powerpoint?


How do I animate it. I found where I animate each part of 1 slide but not the entire show as a whole.

Can I take the song off my CD and put it into the slide show?

If you go to slide show, you have custom animation that will animate anything you want on the slide itself. If you go to slide transition, this will animate the whole slide when you go from one slide to the next. At the bottom of slide transition, chose apply to all slides.

Thanks Stacey, I ended up reading the help menu 1000 times then realized I need to convert the song into Mp3 then I figured out the play through all slides choice. I really appreciate your help.


What are some ways I can make my slides not so boring?? Right now I just have the words with a plain background. I need some ideas. I am doing Carrie Underwoods song "Before he Cheats" and then I have to speak during some of it.

But background ideas????

I like to go to slide design and use one of their background designs. Go to format and chose slide design. They make the slides look more appealing. When you can, add one or two clip art designs that go along with what you are talking about. Pictures always can make a presentation more appealing. Also, when you add your slide transitions you can add sound to it as well. For example at the end of your presentation you can add the applause sound.

Yeah, you can change the slide design even though you already have stuff on your slides. One thing I'd do too, is save your work often. Sometimes PowerPoint will get hung up and you don't want to lose anything you've done. My rule of thumb is to click save after every slide you do.
