Ok you computer pro's.

How do I scan something small and not have a big white area, and be able to save it at a normal size. As if I was doing a PG test (I AM NOT) But use that for an example??

when you scan the item you have to crop the scan around the item you are scanning, most scanners, once they preview the item for you allow you to move the scanning box to just include the item you want scanned. once you have scanned it, you can crop the item in any photoediting software to remove any extra space as well.
