If Ty says it's big, then trust him - it's BIG!

Forgive me if I sound stupid.. But, can I buy this product in the store? I have looked around online and I hate to spend that much $ on something and it be the wrong shade. I never wear foundation and some how with age I get more pimples and wrinkles, which that one I expect. I would like something light and hardly noticeable, but enough to cover my problems. From what I hear Bare Minerals is what I need.Any tips or suggestions are welcome.

Well, Lisa is the absolute QUEEN of cosmetics and is a terrific resource.
I can tell you that yes; you can purchase this in-store. I would recommend going to a Sephora or Ulta or even a B.E. Boutique store to have the colors applied. You will find your perfect shade and look by visiting a store. The deals are pretty spectacular in the stores as well. xo |

I agree with Val, Sephora or Ulta or a BE boutique(also macy's and nordstroms carry it) if one is nearby...otherwise there are some salons that carry it you would have to put in your zip on the websiteBare Escentuals - Natural Cosmetics for the Body and Face to check if there is one in your area....one thing about BE, if you dont like it they take full refunds NO MATTER WHAT. So if you try it and hate it you can send it back....one good way to try it is the starter kit which comes with 2 shades of foundation....fairly light/light or medium/medium beige. Depends on how dark your skin tone is...they say most women are a medium but I disagree I think there are way more users of Fairly light than anything. Which is what I wear.
You can sign up for the infomercial kit on the website.i.d. bareMinerals and try it and if it doesn't work return it, no questions asked. The kit has everything you would need plus a bunch of free gifts, the kit on the website is better than the getting started kits you can buy in the stores. Another great place to buy BE is on QVC, they also have a no questions asked return policy, try it and if you dont like it you can return it. What I love about BE is that it has cleared up my skin, the minerals are really healing and my skin is so much better since using it, less acne, less redness..I also use the nighttime treatement(Rare Minerals- runs about $60 for a supply that usually lasts about 2 months for me)the nighttime treatment has helped me with my very large pores and redness....plus I use the Rare minerals cleanser and now they are coming out with a rare minerals mositurizer which I cant wait to try Im gonna have to take some pics of my collection to show you girls how much I really have...it is amazing.....I love this stuff....I have all of the all over face colors they sell except one(21 to be exact)....plus 28 blushes....and 198 eye colors. Pretty much every brush they sell, I have 58 at last count, I use the primer, the nighttime treatment, the eye primer, skin vitamins-rever upper, I have 4 different mascars by them, but my fave is the big tease, 6 lipsticks, 9 lipglosses, 3 lip liners, 13 buxom glosses, and 3 of the body minerals, I have all of the versions of there mineral veil, origninal, tinted, feather light, and tinted feather light. 2 of there train cases, and probably 10-15 assorted makeup bags....IM AN ADDICT. ![]() Last edited by Lisa; 09-02-2008 at 12:34 AM. |
