“Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven.”
|
Well we spent Saturday morning in the ER with Shannon. Around 3am he spike a temp of 102. I gave him some motrin but after about 2 hours he was no better. He was very congested and was having a hard time breathing so we headed out to the ER.
Diagnosis: Viral infection....luckily it was all in the nasal and sinus area, nothing had moved into his chest. The Dr. told me to continue pedialite and clear liquids, rotate motrin and tylenol and lots of TLC. He was so sad look. He laid on the couch with in between Sean and I all day. If one of us got up he got pissed. Sunday he continued with the fever. It went up and down from the time we left the hospital. Around 1pm it finally broke and Shannon went from lazy bones on the couch to "catch me if you can " mode in 2 seconds flat. I never thought i would be so happy to chase him. He woke up this morning his normal perky self a little mode from lack of sleep but happy. |
