Ok this kit is very similar to Wine country....seduction kinda looks a bit muddy to me when used with captivate only i add hush hush blush(the blush in the kit) to it. Seduction is great with other colors I cant make it work with Captivate alone...they just seem to run together. Hush Hush works great as a blush or eyecolor...that is why I love BE so much it is so versatile.

That is a fantastic use for the hush hush. It really didn't work very well as a blush for me, so this is perfect!
I do have a question on what techniques you use for blending the colors after you've done the foiling. Can you give me some tips? You're the best!!!!! xoxo |

I wish I could do that! I might have to play around after I get my makeup kit in.

I have the eye defining brush (contoured one) and I think I have something similar to the blending brush, which I have been using to apply the base color.
Can I assume that you use the brush that came with the masterpiece kit to foil with? I think that's called the double ended precision brush. I've been using that to foil with and then using the other end to line my lower lids. For my upper lids, I've been using their traditional liner brush, which came with their all about eyes kit. I used the hush hush today and I LOVE it! What a terrific eye color! I used the Chardonnay color for lash to brown, then foiled the seduction color on the lid and used hush hush in the crease. I lined my lower lids with merlot and used the Captivate color to to highlight the brow bone area. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these colors. Lisa, you should SO have your own you-tube channel!! |

Yep Hush hush is much better as an eye color than a blush....too peach for me, I need a darker color...I use Papaya and fruit cocktail the most for blush. I also use clear and flawless radiance....clear radiance I mix with my foundation because I need a bit more pink than Fairly light has in it. Then I use flawless radiance to highlight my cheeks. I use Faux tan and bare radiance mixed to contour my face, to make it look thinner. I love the brow kit and always use the brow mascara....it is awesome. A great kit for foiling is this one Sephora: Bare Escentuals Tutorials - Foiled Eye ($54 Value): Eyeshadow Sets The included brush is great for foling and crease work....plus the colors are awesome....Merlot would be great as a liner for these...they look like grey and beigh but are really purples....beautiful colors. |
