Default Val here is the Masterpiece collection

Ok this kit is very similar to Wine country....seduction kinda looks a bit muddy to me when used with captivate only i add hush hush blush(the blush in the kit) to it. Seduction is great with other colors I cant make it work with Captivate alone...they just seem to run together. Hush Hush works great as a blush or eyecolor...that is why I love BE so much it is so versatile.

Captivate lash to brow
hush hush blush in crease
seduction foiled on lid

captivate lash to brow
hush hush foiled on lid
seduction in crease and outer v

That is a fantastic use for the hush hush. It really didn't work very well as a blush for me, so this is perfect!

I do have a question on what techniques you use for blending the colors after you've done the foiling. Can you give me some tips?

You're the best!!!!! xoxo

I wish I could do that! I might have to play around after I get my makeup kit in.

Maybe when I go to my training class they will teach me how to really apply eye colors.

Ok after you have foiled the color on...let it dry completely, I usually put my face near a fan for a few minutes. Then take a dry, empty brush, preferably a fluffyier one and just rub it to make the edges not so harsh....if you rub too much the colors will come off then just apply a little bit more with the brush you used to apply the color...I use the crease defining brush from BE.Crease Defining Brush another good brush is the blending brush Blending Brush or the angled eye defining brush Eye Defining Brush

I have the eye defining brush (contoured one) and I think I have something similar to the blending brush, which I have been using to apply the base color.

Can I assume that you use the brush that came with the masterpiece kit to foil with? I think that's called the double ended precision brush. I've been using that to foil with and then using the other end to line my lower lids. For my upper lids, I've been using their traditional liner brush, which came with their all about eyes kit.

I used the hush hush today and I LOVE it! What a terrific eye color! I used the Chardonnay color for lash to brown, then foiled the seduction color on the lid and used hush hush in the crease. I lined my lower lids with merlot and used the Captivate color to to highlight the brow bone area.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these colors. Lisa, you should SO have your own you-tube channel!!

you can pretty much use any brush to foil with...i use the heavenly eyeliner brush to foil...I like foiling with a much smaller brush because it is less messy...I use the precision brush all the time for the crease. I line using the new rocker eye brush in the rocker kit you can buy at Sephora....Sephora: Bare Escentuals Tutorials - Rocker Eye ($61 Value): Eyeshadow Sets

Yep Hush hush is much better as an eye color than a blush....too peach for me, I need a darker color...I use Papaya and fruit cocktail the most for blush. I also use clear and flawless radiance....clear radiance I mix with my foundation because I need a bit more pink than Fairly light has in it. Then I use flawless radiance to highlight my cheeks. I use Faux tan and bare radiance mixed to contour my face, to make it look thinner. I love the brow kit and always use the brow mascara....it is awesome. A great kit for foiling is this one Sephora: Bare Escentuals Tutorials - Foiled Eye ($54 Value): Eyeshadow Sets The included brush is great for foling and crease work....plus the colors are awesome....Merlot would be great as a liner for these...they look like grey and beigh but are really purples....beautiful colors.
