Well we made it back Friday night. The trip was complete hell. My grandmother in her frame of mind called me every name in the book and swears that it never happened. She yelled and screamed at all of us non stop unless one of the social workers or someone important was around. SHe even flipped out in the restuarant on the way home. I tipped the waitress $20 just for dealing with her.

I finally lost it when she screamed at my daughter and called her something along the lines of a fat ass. My daughter has a weight issue that she is dealing with very well but that sent her running in to the hall of the hotel balling her eyes out.

I really think my grandmother is going insane. I realize losing a child can do that to someone and I tried to put it in one ear and out the other but she attacked my daughter I could not handle it any more. After that my husband went to the desk and found another room for us to stay in and we packed up and moved to that one. I only dealt with my grandmother when it was time to handle things for my uncle.

As far as my uncle... that have not given him a time limit except for the original one form January which was 6-8 months. Looking at him I would say a few weeks at the most but he is a trooper.

I know this sounds bad but with the amount of pain he is in I wish the Lord would just take him home now. I will miss him more than anything but it breaks my heart to see him hurt this way. His throat is pretty much gone and the cancer had eaten away his lungs so he really can not breathe all that well either.

I just want to climb under the covers and cry it out until i fall asleep... I really think i am losing it now.

I'm so sorry your grandma was being so awful to you and your daughter. There was no excuse, you and your family were going above and beyond to help out.
I know what you mean about not wanting to watch him suffer. My FIL was in so much pain at the end, it hurt everyone to lose him, but we were glad that he wasn't suffering anymore.
