Have you had it this close before? Nursing can play havoc with AF, but normally that's to make your cycles longer, not shorter. If this isn't the first time, it might be worth visiting your doctor to make sure nothing is going on that shouldn't be. If this is the first time it's happened, I wouldn't stress out about it too much. It could just be your body is having trouble getting back into a rhythm after child birth. I know when I got off Depo, that when AF finally did arrive, I had several short cycles and it took about 6-7 months to start regulating. And even now, I'm not as consistent as I was before I ever took birth control and eventually had a baby.

I called my obgyn to be safe, and they said as long as i'm still BF'ing, no need to worry. She said it just depends on how often he's eating, and if it's fluctuating, then my AF will fluctuate due to the hormones. Makes me feel better.
