I could use some prayers ladies.
He started to run fever a week ago which was no big surprise since Rachel just got over it. but then he got the rash and would cry when he would eat or drink. so I took him to the Dr on Tuesday and he had strep. Well he seems to be getting worse and not better. the past 2 days he only wants to sleep and will only take small drinks of rootbeer then still will scream. His mouth is all blistered up. I called to get him back in and now I am waiting to see what the Dr. wants to do since he was just seen Tuesday.. I am so tired to holding him down to force him to take Advil ( thank goodness for Tylenol suppositories) and seeing him so pathetic.

I am so sorry he is so sick, poor little man! When Jake got a viral thing last year that was blisters in his throat, they told me to give him a teaspoon of Maalox before asking him to drink as it coated his throat and made it less painful. I know he wouldn't drink anything at all and would scream if I made him. It was so bad, he wouldn't take his pacifier even. I'll be praying for him

Yup, They told me maalox or mylanta for Rach when she had HFM. but I cant even get him to take that. He wont take his paci or bottle.I hope that maybe the only good thing to come of this is that he may forget about them and not want them when he gets better. The Dr. called and told me his antibotic,omniceif (sp? I am to lazy to go check the spelling)is a strong one and should start working.
