Yes... I'm an arcade addict!!
|
I am dying here. I have to get better by Monday. My doctor told me to take Mucinex D for my congestion and help dry my ears out (they were infected). DH brought home generic Mucinex D (40 mg of pseudoephedrine). I'm not against a generic, but I'm not sure it's working. I'm still in pain even after taking 800 mg of ibprofrin. What can I do? Can I take some Tylenol, will it help?

I know how you feel! Even in adults EI really suck!! What about taking something with antihistamine in it? It might help to dry you up. My doc put Sarah on Claretine when she had an EI. |

My uterus is screaming at me to MAKE MORE BABIES!!

Were you still nursing? If you aren't too weirded out, you can pump some and get it into a dropper and put it into your ears. That may help your ears more than anything.
I'm not sure about decongestants because I haven't been able to take one since 2003 (been pregnant or breastfeeding since then), but the only one that helped me then was sudafed. And alternating every 2 hours between tylenol and ibuprofen. And of course a drink in the evening... |

It's official, I'm a post whore!!
|
I'm not sure what to tell you... IBprofun usually is the thing that takes my pain away and tylenol does nothing.. I can tell you that I have used the Mucinex brand and the generic brand and there was no difference.. But it mainly only worked on clearing my nose and throat of flem.. I hope you feel better soon |

O!! I forgot you are still nursing. You might need to check and see what drugs are okay to take. Some will try to dry you up.
I have taken 1 benedryl every 6 hours while nursing. Of course, Hannah was a baby and we slept the whole day. When she woke up to nurse I would just roll to the other side and go back to sleep. We where both in a "drug coma". ![]() |

Oh my gosh! I am SOOOOO sorry that you are sick!!!
I swear, y'all must have been exposed to something over President's Day weekend. Brenna got SOOO sick on the plane ride home, and she has pneumonia. There must have been some icky germies in the Pop Century food court. I am SOOOO sorry that you got "bit" too!!!!!! |
