Default We have the flu!
DH and I have the flu. My doctor prescribed me Tamiflu and ordered me to stay home and ship the kids out. My insurance only covers 15% of the Tamiflu, which left me with $78!! DH doesn't have health insurance right now (I know... I know...) so his will cost us about $100. Yuck!!! He's heading to the doctor now to get officially diagnosed, but he came down with it first and he's just as bad as me so I'm sure he has it too. Ugh...

My sister (acpautz) is taking Carter tonight and then he's going to my MIL's for the rest of the weekend. I'm going to call Addie's Godmother when she gets off of work and see if she can take her for the weekend.

Man, this is the worst flu season EVER! I don't remember hearing about this many people having the flu before. Crazy!

We had it at my house a couple of weeks ago to and it's BAD. Thank goodness your sister & the kids grandparents are around to help out with the kids. I they don't get it also.

My understanding of why there is so much flu this year is that one of the most prevalent strains going around was not in the shot everyone who was vaccinated received.
