Not only the increased mucous production... but, it HURTS!!! In all seriousness, the extreme cold really hurts the throat. Anything really hot or cold is a nono after a T&A.

I had mine out in September of 06 - and the only thing I could manage was lukewarm tea and broth, and jello. (and I hate jello)

Brenna could not tolerate anything cold or warm either.

I'll be thinking of Lauren....and you! I hope it goes well!!!
