Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
What happened to my cycles?!?!?!?
A little background:
My cycle were pretty much like clockwork before Lauryn. Now they range from 25-30 days long which isn't too bad. Now the fun part, this cycle was 16 days long. WTH??????? It appears to be a normal period as far as the flow and cramps. I had breast tenderness last week and I thought that was a little weird so soon into the cycle. I know I'm under a little stress, but I've NEVER had it affect my cycles before and trust me in the past I've been stressed a whole lot more than I am right now. I just wondered how many of you have had this happen and what the cause was (if you knew).
I normally had 30 day cycles. When we were finishing up the house and getting ready to move, my period was more then a week early. Then we started paying a mortgage. Jeremy was spending money like normal, he wasn't tighting up the purse strings like he needed to. I handle all our finances, so I was stressing about covering all of our bills and taking care of EVERYTHING!! Once again that brought on an early cycle and other physical things.
Stess can really suck!! If you have no outlet, it will really build up and then break you down.
When it's happened to me before it has always made them longer but it hardly happens. I can't even remember what I was stressing about now when it happened but it has happen twice.

The girls at work think it may be the start of peri-menopause. Holy crap, seriously?!?!?!?!? My mom started at age 40 and that was after 4 kids. I'm only 34!

I think pregnancy is more likely.
For me stress is more likely to make my cycle longer. But when I came off Depo and my cycles finally returned, they were all wacky. They are just now going back to what they were (length wise) before I ever started birth control 14 years ago. Your not using hormonal BC any more are you? That could be effecting it. Age could easily be effecting it. You last pregnancy could have changed the way your body responds. I seriously doubt it's peri-menopause yet. Not for a hot sexy young thing like you. But I tend to have a 28/32 day cycles - they rotate - my theory being it depends on which overy is popping that month.
It's possible you may not even have ovulated. Or maybe you ovulated during your last or within days of it ending. It does happen.
