I think this might be our last can of formula and at the same time. My ped said he should be on milk by his first b'day....we have been mixing milk and formula adding a little more milk every 3-5 days, and so far so good. We are at 1/2 and 1/2 now...and this can of formula has lasted almost 2 days I think by the end of next week, we should be off totally. Is it normal to be done alreay? It's soy milk, and I think it tastes yucky, but he's tolerating it really well. What's everyone else doing?

I just posted to your other thread about bottles. We're still giving formula. Haven't strarted giving milk yet. I think I'm just not ready for her to grow up just yet In a few weeks we'll start giving milk, though. What's everyone else doing?

Ian had his first "real milk" today. I made him a 6 oz bottle, with 2 oz of real milk. I'll see how he does with it before going any further.

I'm a bit nervous, Ian's been on lactose free formula since the beginning. And, he's had dairy products and tolerated them alright. So, I just dunno. I hope he does well with it, and that the lactose issue has passed.

Lauryn drinks it all She drinks milk, breast in morning and at night, and I had a couple cans of formula sitting in the pantry so she drinks that too. I think we'll be on all milk in the next few weeks.

Koloe

We never did formula. But I've only givin Liriel a couple sips of my milk a couple times. The first time it went right through her, so I didn't give her any more for a few months. Last time she had a little it seemed to be OK. So in the next week or so I'll probably have the Daycare start giving her some milk in a cup of some sort if she runs out of BM. Because I plan to start dropping pumping sessions when she turns 1 in a few weeks. So by October at the latest she will need to be drinking milk or other beverages at daycare.

You guys know how Ethan is..... Refuses BM at 6 months and at 10 months refuses formula after he got a sip of real milk..... He is on 100% whole milk and has been for about 6-7 weeks.

We have gave up the bottle 100% last week too.
