Ethan is not wanting to drink his formula. I have tried putting it in cups instead of a bottle but it doesn't matter. I called his ped yesterday b/c I was really getting worried he wasn't getting enough. She told me to dilute it with Whole Milk (1/2 and 1/2 mixture) and see if that helped. Well he is drinking it just fine.

But isn't he to little not to be just on formula? I am really worried he won't get everything he needs. He is an excellent eater. I don't give him any more "baby-baby" food. I pretty much made my own anyways but not just give him what ever I make for lunch and dinner. I am a stickler at having healthy and good meals with all the (good) food groups with lunch and dinner and make healthy breakfasts so I hope that does make up for it a little.

He's 10 months now, right? IMO...It should truly be fine. Zachery had the same problem at 10 months, and I had to start giving him a mixture of whole milk too. Try to give him as much formula as you can, but, don't worry if he's not completely on formula only. He will be getting lots of nutrients from the other foods that he is eating.

Thank you! Yes, he was 10 months on the 9th. He is drinking the mixture well and not seeming to refuse that so atleast I can get a little formula in him. He only has 3 bottles a day anymore so I just worry like us mommies do.

Mason is not drinking much of his bottles now a days either. He only gets 3/day now too. but I am lucky if he drinks half of it

Now he won't even drink his bottle if there is formula in it. Ethan has to be the most irritating kid when it comes to milk.... Only 5 months BFing and then he refuses, 5 months on formula and now he won't even drink that. But on the good side I gave him 100% whole today and he LOVED it.

Koloe

If you think about it, formula doesn't taste very good (or so I've been told) and now that he's getting real food, he may just prefer the more "natural" flavors. Just a thought. Of course now you need to be more careful about making sure he's eating a well balanced diet.
