Does your baby have reflux?
If so, try the enfamil AR. It is thicker so it stays down better. It has been a god-send with our little girl.
I like that smiley.

I called Enfamil, and they said the RTF was a lot thicker than powder, and better for reflux!
Just thaught I'd let you know!

Re: Does your baby have reflux?
I've seen that, and thought about trying it. Only, Ian seems to have issues with lactose. He spits up a lot, in fact...his pediatrician suggested we try Gentlease to help with that, but he only spit up more. Almost projectile vomiting, in a sense. It was awful.
Do you have any idea whether or not there is one with added rice that is lower lactose?????
I know, that's probably a huge longshot!

Re: Does your baby have reflux?
Have you tried any soy formulas? The Enfamil AR is milk based. We tried soy with Catherine to see if that would help with the spit up. It didn't. The rice has helped though.

Re: Does your baby have reflux?
We tried soy....and that did not go over well. He could not keep anything down, and was really upset the whole 3-4 days we tried it. It wasn't a good time!

Re: Does your baby have reflux?
I would try the Enfimil AR. The worst that could happen is he spits it up. I know how frustrating that is. That is why I stopped BF. She couldn't keep it down.
Let me know if you try it.

Re: Does your baby have reflux?
Jessica,
Our pediatrician said that if it bothers "ME" more than it does him, it's not a big deal...and it's *probably* just normal growing issues.
But, he said that if the spitting up bothers HIM....than it's probably more of a reflux issue - and is probably a bit painful.
I think if your little guy is just spitting without seeming as if he's in pain, it's probably just "normal" spitting up. =)
