Kris

Ian has started wanting to hold his bottle by himself. He will literally remove my hands from his bottle while he's eating. But, he's not yet steady with it. And, he drops it over and over.

Or, he'll fall asleep and drop it... causing him to wake up. Geez.

Who else is dealing with this??

Oh yeah, Carson has been holding his bottle for about 2 months now. But I still hold him and aid him with it because usually about 1/2 way through he'll want to play instead of eat.

That just cracks me up. At some point, I think all babies do this..... well, any baby who gets a bottle, that is. =)

Mommy2Meghan-Caleb

Oh trust me, it's not just with a bottle either (although Jon says he does do that stuff when he feeds him at night.) Caleb does all that while he's trying to nurse as well. Stands up, twists around in circles, pops off to look at the dog, latches on, pops off to look at Meghan, latches back on, laughs, giggles, wants to put his toys in his mouth and nurse at the same time... They are too funny at this age!

Ethan has been holding his bottle for a few months now too. And yes there are days he plays with it more then anything. Lately his thing is that he does NOT want me to hold him while he drinks it. So I put him on the arm of the couch or chair and sit beside him while he eats. He is getting to independent for me. I want my little baby boy back.
