Ok, they switched DS to this. It dosn't seem to be helping. He is still pulling his legs up/gassy. He is still spitting up, but not as bad. What's the next step? Do I just have to give him some more time? He seems like he did so much better on the Gentlease, but he was just spititng it up so bad twards the end. He didn't seemed bothered by it, just that it was to thin. He wasn't gassy, not pulling his legs up, nothing. I don't know what to do. I am giving him gas drops at almost every feeding again with the Nutramagin. Maybe I'm just not giving it enough time? TOnight will be 48 hours, and the Dr. office told me it could take that long to see results. He did so horrible on the lactose free stuff, maybe he still has that in his system?
I don't know anymore...what's the next step? We tried adding cereal to the Gentlease, and he didn't do well with cereal.
Jessica a milk allergy is toxic that builds up in the body. It can take weeks to months to discover there is an allergy. It can also take weeks to about 2 months to cleanse the body of all lactose. He will need at least a month maybe more before you start noticing a real difference. Give it some time and if this is the problem (dairy/soy allergy) then he should be feeling better in a few weeks. Hang in there it is like they are totaly different babies in the long run
