I recently started DD on all formula and she dribbles like crazy! We're using the Playtex Nursers and the Ventaires. Is dribbling formula out the corners of her mouth just something I have to get used to? or would a different bottle nipple help? We originally used the stage 1s with the nursers but it was starting to take her about 45 mins. and she still wasn't finishing the bottle, so we switched to the stage 2s.

Kaitlyn does that with EBM too...I have tried the stage 2 nipples and then she just chokes....we are also using the playtex nursers....i have avent bottles too...may just try those again....

All my kids did this. I just tuck something under their chin. I never b/f so I don't know any different.

We use stage 2 nipples as well, with the Avent bottles. Ian doesn't really let any formula pass his mouth. I swear.... he'd lick the inside of the bottle if he could, for every last drop. But, on rare occassions that it does dribble out of his mouth, I keep a burp cloth under his chin. =)

We're dribbling a lot too but it's because he's too nosy to sit and eat. We want to sit up and look around as he's afraid he's going to miss something.
