We went to a car show all day with both kids. It was over 2 hrs in the car both ways. We had a great time(minus both kids screaming the whole way back)

We went out to dinner with Tony's mom and her boyfriend. We went to this cool little diner, with a kids toy area. My MIL was holding Dean, and I gave him a baby cookie(Arrowroot, with no dairy) He has had them before, and they pretty much just disolve. If I notice he gets a big piece, I just scoop it out.

My MIL couldn't see him, but I could. I noticed he had a good chunck, so she got it out. He opened his mouth, and I noticed there was a glob of cookie on the back of his tounge. She thaught he was ok, but he started gagging. I jumped up, grabbed him, turned him upside down and started pounding his back(baby heimlich) and DH noticed he was turning blue. He stuck his finger down his throat to try and remove it. It must have disolved, cause we couldn't get anything out. He stated crying, and he seems ok. We gave him a little water, and he did fine with that. No more cookies for him. He sure dose LOVE them though!

When DH took his finger out of his mouth, his finger was bloody. That could be from the cookie cutting his throat right?

I am not sure about the blood, maybe from Tony's finger? or the cookie, but I think that would be soft. We had the same thing witht he arrowroot cookies so I stopped giving them. it is the only thing I have had either of my boys get choked on. I had to flip Ty over and slap him on the back like 5 times and continuously sweep this mouth out, it was scary. I would say just watch for the blood again, maybe get a flashlight and sometime when he is screaming just try and look to see what you can see.
