Default non dairy cookies?

The GI told me to give him a teething cookie, to see if it helps the wanting something in his mouth. I went out and got the gerber biscuts, and he LOVED it...cried when I took it away.....

I started reading the ingredents...and there was milk in them!! I cna't find a flippin one that is dairy and egg free....anyone know of any? You would think they would make them, since i know mine is not the only child allergic....

Uhh, why didn't you read the ingredients before buying them... or, before giving them to him??? You are just askin' for trouble there, Jess!! =(

There aren't many allergen free cookies out there. The ONLY ones Ian and Brenna can have are "Enjoy Life" brand. No dairy, nuts, eggs, wheat.... but they have a lot of fiber and are sweetened with fruit juices, which can either be constipating or cause diarrhea in real little ones.

Many of the specialty cookies are made with soy, and that's really harsh on little tummies. We love the double chocolate brownie, snickerdoodle, and happy apple cookies.

I have to go to Whole Foods tomorrow, I'm going to browse the baby food isle to see if I can find anything geared more toward infants. If I do.... I'll let you know!!!!

ETA: I know how frustrating the whole allergy thing is. I'm not trying to be mean... I'm just attempting to get you to remember you HAVE to read labels first... then give the yummies!

What about trying some toast? I give Ty a half slice and he goes crazy!!! Otr hard pretzel rods, just watch him. I actually have had better luck with those than the cookies in terms of things breaking off. The rods-the big ones would be good for sensory stim too.
