Default Bottle Strike

Brody has absolutley refused to take a bottle all of the sudden in the past month. If it's not then he has nothing to do with it... Anyone else have this problem? What do I do? Is there anything I can do? We want to go out tonight, but how am I supposed to leave, what if he gets hungry

Nurse just before leaving and make it a short trip - 3-4 hours max. Leave a bottle just in case he will drink it.

Try giving it to him in a different container - such as a sippy cup, straw cup, regular cup, sryinge, dropper, etc.

At 5.5 months we introduced oatmeal infant cereal at DC for DD because I was having trouble pumping enough milk to keep up with her limited demand. 1 serving plus what I could pump was enough to tide her over. I did NOT give her any other solids at home until after she was 6 months old. You mentioned starting solids already, if you introduce him to some thing to see if he is OK with eating it, then maybe you can use that 1 or 2 solids as a food to feed him while you are gone if he won't drink EBM. You can make infant cereal with EBM - so he would still be getting some that way. Also consider bananas, sweet potatoes, and avocados as first foods.
