We are by no means vegitarians (I HATE veggies...I only eat canned corn ) but if Michael had his choice, he would only eat the veggies. I offered him chocolate pudding...he threw it on the floor....I offered him ice cream, he shook his head no, i tried meat sticks, london broil, fish sticks, (he had 1 bite of that ) but I put greenbeans down, and he ate the whole can He does that with all veggies. I made him a Kid Cuisine today, chicken nuggest, corn and mac and cheese. He would put a bite of chicken in his mouth, chew it up, and spit it out, and point to the corn He at all the corn and spit out everything else. He likes cheese too, but where else can he get protein from if he's not wanting the meat?

What about eggs or peanut butter (if you feel safe giving him that) beans have some protein too. and if your really worried try giving him some fallow-up formula or the pedi-drink thats out there.
Tlyer wont eat any meats either. he will eat a few little smokies but thats not the best thing for him.

Is he getting milk or formula? Milk and cheese are both a source of protein. Have you tried the gerber graduate pasta meals? Sarah loves those and I know that they have protein in them.

Maybe he is just on a kick right now? He could be just really into the taste texture and ease of feeding himself the veggies. Are you cutting everything else up pretty small like the veggies are? I know when DD was that age she wouldn;t eat anything that was too big unless I cut it up; guess it made it easier to handle and eat. Does he eat fruits too? Like bananas or apples?
I doubt he's a vegetarian; I just think that like most little kids he is going for what he can do for himself and is on a kick. Loralei's current kick involves hot dogs and watermelon. She is older so she will reluctantly eat other stuff; but if she knows there are hot dogs or watermelon in the house she will refuse to eat anything else! Kids are funny that way!

Hey, enjoy the veggie eater. Too many people have kids who won't eat them at all! Now to get him into other foods...

I don't cut up any of the veggies for him he can handle them pretty well, and i make sure they are mushy. I tried the gerber pasta things, and he ate them in the begining, but now he just throws them all on the floor. I always serve him a meat, and veggie, and then sometimes some pasta, but he throws everything but the veggies He likes fruit too, and he drinks milk/formula mix. He likes peanut butter, and he likes eggs, but i don't like to give him the same things everyday I just don't know what to give him anymore, and I"m looking for someother ideas
He also has declined chocolate every single time i have given it to him

How about instant oatmeal or cream of wheat??? You can get the packets that are fruit flavored. He might like that and it would be some thing different. And I'm not talking about the baby stuff either. Regular Quaker instant oatmeal in individual packets. Liriel loves it. But she won't touch the baby oatmeal.
