Default Milk

So, how the heck do you get them to drink milk? I know we are supposed to wait until 12 months but Jake is so picky of an eater I have been trying to give him some milk in his sippy 1x/day but he just won't have it-at all, even makes an ugly face. I thought if I start to introduce it slowly them maybe I will be able to wean him before he turns 2 Seriously all he wants is to nurse or drinks lots of water from his sippy. He doesn' like juice which is fine but I have tried cow, soy, and rice milk. oh, and I tried warm and cold and strawberry flavoring. I was just hoping to ease into the milk thing but now I am worried he will nurse forever. Any thoughts, suggestions, etc?
TIA,
Karen

I don't have any suggestions just wanted to say Maddox is only interested in nursing too You aren't alone. Brayden had no problem switching Although he was formula feed.

Lauryn is having some issues woth switching to the sippy cup too. She takes water from it with no problems, but not milk I've tried breast and cow milk and no luck with either. I also tried warm and cold. I'll let you know if I find the answer.

Kaitlyn is the same way. She drinks her water and some juice fine, but will not drink any kind of milk out of it(tried soy, cows, and breast). She only wants to nurse.

I've found that just about anything out of my cup is yummy, but when it's in her cup/bottle, it's no longer tasty. Don't worry, she won't nurse forever. They are still really young.
