I love my boys!!

I've been giving Michael table foods at lunch and snacks. DH is really concerend he isn't getting enough to eat (only maybe 1/2 of it makes it in his mouth....

That's how they learn to eat. When Liriel first started feeding herself, not much made it to the belly. But now at least 1/2 of it get's in her belly if she wants it there.
If he's still hungry, he will keep trying to feed himself. Unless he's losing weight, or extreamly grumpy, acts hungry, I would not worry about it. |

Couldn't agree more! Babies don't need very much food to fill them up. Ethan gets breakfast, snack, lunch, bottle, snack, dinner, bottle.... It really isn't that much food, that ends up in his tummy, but he is happy and healthy so I'm not worried.
