We always start the day off with a bottle, he only ate 2oz this morning, instead of 4 like usual. He had maybe 2 oz at my MIL this morning, and then maybe 1oz at lunch, and refused the jarred food...i gave him some of thoes turkey sticks (only 1 ) cut up, and 3 little toddler raviolis after i couldn't get him to eat his jar food...then we went to the beach, and he had maybe an oz of juice....i just tried to give him another bottle, and he wouldnt take it now what? I'm scared he's not getting enough...wait, I KNOW he's not getting enough......oppinions please....

Maybe he's just not feeling well today. Is he cutting teeth or drooling a lot? Hayden will do this too at times but I just figure he's not feeling well and let it pass. As long as he's getting something I don't worry. If it continues onto day 2 then I would express some concern.

Hopefully he's just having a off day today and that's all it is.

Koloe

1 day of not eating much is normal. If it continues more than 1 or 2 days, then I would be more concerned. There are days we as adults don't feel like eating much. And days we eat more than usual. Same with babies.

I totally agree. If he goes more than 2 days of this, then I'd be really concerned. One day is normal, then two days is questionable, on day 3 I'd take him in.

Like Amy said, could be related to teething. Carson didn't eat for 2 days when he was teething.

Emma

We are in the same boat. Lauryn pulls the same stuff and it worries me too. She usually eats pretty well at breakfast. Lunch is so-so, and dinner is AWFUL! She did so well for so long, that this is throwing me for a loop. She doesn't seem to drink enough either. I'm starting to try and offer her more EBM throughout the day and if she takes that I'll feel better about the food. She does still eat those teething biscuits I made ( I give her one for a snack and after lunch if she seems peckish still).
