What are some suggestions you have for finger foods? Rysa absolutely HATES baby food. She will tolerate it but would much rather eat what we are eating. Most of the food I cook is not finger foods. What would you suggest as some ideas?

I've given avocado, banana, pasta wheels (or other shapes), carrot (cut pretty small) or peas, small pieces of potato, cherrios

These may not all be age appropriate for Rysa, but here are some of mine:

Cheese
fruit - apple slices without the peel, bananas, peaches, pears -- soft fruits for babies
avocado slices
crackers
hot dogs (cut up to avoid choking for really young kids)
dried fruit
cheerios (a good early food)
other dry cold cereals
mac and cheese

Also consider buying a little hand grinder and just grind up what ever you are making for the family and serve it to her as a mash - seasonings and all.

Chicken nuggets (cut very small), hot dogs (again, cut very small), ripe pears, peas... I'll have to think about what else we did.

Shannon has a thing for dehydrated fruit. We have a dehydrater and one day i ran some apples through it and he loves them...
