We tried them and Carson didn't like it. Which surprised me because he likes EVERYTHING, just not ready for those yet I guess.

Don't be afraid to try. The worse that could happen is that he turns them down. I'm curious to know how he likes them. Be sure to let us know.

I would try it! I haven't tried it with Ethan yet but only b/c the girls haven't had them! He likes mac & cheese and I have been giving him a little bit of things here and there. This morning I made some rolls and he loved it! He sat in his high chair for 1 hour eating!

I would not dream of letting Ian have them. Way too much sodium, for one thing. And, he's reacted to so many different foods in their natural state, giving him mixed foods scares the crud outta me.

He has had penne pasta with tomato sauce, and really like it. But no mac and cheese here, or anything else with milk in it just yet.

He had some at lunch, and he made a face at first, but he kept eating them!!

I just went to get more baby food, and i got him mangos, and black beans and rice, and creamed spinach...all of which he hasn't had before....my MIL is cuban, and she is actually making black beans and rice for dinner, and she has been begging me to put it in the blender for him...she even baught me a blender(i told her i didn't have one as an exscuse, i really do have one, well, now i have 2)

Jess I don't think you would even have to put in the blender.

Is he ok with finger foods? I would just give it to him how you eat it if he is, you might have to cut the black beans in half though


I hardly ever puree anything anymore, he gets all cranky if he can't feed it to himself, Breakfast is the only meal he lets me feed him anymore
