We actually tried the meat & fruits mixed together and Carson absolutely HATED it. It was something worth trying, but you'll see, when you open the jar and smell that stuff, you wouldn't want to eat that stuff either.

Nope, no meat here till at least 9 months, probably closer to a year. It's just personal preference with us. I'm not much of a "carnivore" and neither are Josh and Brenna. They do eat chicken and fish, but that's about it. Adam is a red meat fan, but has no desire to make the kids follow that choice.

sophiasmommy

sophia is eating the chicken/veggies, beef/veggies and veal/veggies and beef/macaroni already. they are all jarred food from beechnut, and they actually taste alright.

i also sometimes mush up chicken with mashed potatoes if that's what we're eating and she just devours that! she's a little eating machine and wants everything we eat!

i haven't really been following the 1 new food a week rule of thumb for allergies because dh and i have no allergies and sophia seems to be attacking our food.

she's done really well with meats so far. it's been about a month. she isn't gassy, no upset tummy. just wants to eat!!!

Koloe

I've not done any meats yet. I've only given Liriel a few different foods thus far any way. She is mostly getting BM and they feed her cereal 1x a day at daycare. She's not been real receptive to new solids recently - so we are just going slow. The stuff she does want is the stuff she is not suppose to have.
