Re: speaking of the jars...
I just have them stacked in a cabinet by themselves, I go through them once a week before I go through the grocery store, to see what I need.
we're still on stage 1's though so I guess ther isn't that much variety

I have a shelf in my pantry that I store the food on. One side is fruits and the other is veggie. I put the 'meals' on the veggie side and the 'breakfasts' on the fruit side. you could dedicate a kitchen cabinet if you don't have room in the pantry.

Re: speaking of the jars...
I have a cabinet in the kitchen dedicated to "kid stuff". I keep the powered formula, jars of baby food, and playtex liners on this shelf. On the 2nd. shelf I've got the bottles and a small plastic storage "box" and I've got the spoons, medicine dispensers, etc. in it. I also have the infant tylenol and cold medicine there. Then on the top shelf I've got sippy cups and thermal cups.
This way if DH needs anything he knows right where to look for it without calling me. I've used to same cabinet for Will when he was little too. Even my parents know that's where the "kid stuff" is.

That's a great idea Amy! I will have to use that idea even with my older one's. I kind of do that now...I have their own cabinet with their plates and cups...but didn't think to include medicine and things like that in there. I will have to do that!

Re: speaking of the jars...
I actually use a cd rack...one of those cheapy ones from sauder...jars fit really great on them....i stack them 2 high and can put them 3 deep...i put 2 different jars on each shelf and then i go to the next shelf and do the same.....its getting harder with the number 2's because they have so much variety...plus the little bottles of juice fit on there as well as the boxes of cereal. We have so little cabinet space I have had to put my canned goods into a shelving unit as well....
