for the past month i have been working out in a BodyPump class. it has totally kicked my butt unlike any other class! today the instructor (who is a personal friend) says that she is looking for someone to do a morning class. we talked afterwards and i'm seriously considering it. it's a little pricey to get certified, but i would make the money back in my first month.
i'm way excited about this opportunity! i will be making decent money for working only 4 hours a week. and that's not counting the extra i would get for starting my own class. (and getting paid to workout is awesome in itself! lol)
right now i have to pray about it and make sure this is something that would be good for myself and my family.

That's right, it's boy #5 after all!

The drive was horrendous but I'm glad I was able to find out alone because I made it with smiles from the room to the car before the tears started. I'm happy to say I didn't cry the whole way, just 1 1/2 of the 2 hours :laugh

The tech wouldn't give me a toilet shot (she said they refuse to before 20 weeks) and honestly I don't think I had any fight in me at that moment. She would only say 80% but I would say 110% - he might be our most well-endowed little guy yet LOL!

The session was way too short (and she ended it abruptly by saying my bladder was filling up - funny, I heard her say the exact same thing to the woman who was in before me :roll:) and only got a few good pics. He is adorable though. The few that were the best are at the bottom of the post.

I think it will be a few days before I really feel better, as of course I now have to deal with telling our family and friends (can't wait to hear my mom's comment this time, with Dawson it was, "Oh, another boy?" and with Holden it was, "Oh no! We needed another girl!" so I can only imagine...) and telling the kids. I think Macy will be okay now but eventually she will be very upset. One of the kids in her new PreK class just had a baby sister so it will be just like last year, everytime Macy sees that little girl in her carseat she'll cry to me, "Look! A baby girl! Where's MY girl?" :( Not much to be done about that though, we are positive we are done. I think that's the hardest thing - it's not that I don't want another boy (because I really do!) but it's that I also wanted another girl. I really was hoping for 2 more, 1 girl and 1 boy, but now with us disrupting with Emerson we have decided it is best to be done. And of course, most likely if we had another it would be a boy anyways. So I don't regret this little guy, but I do regret what will never be. And that will take some time to get through.

Anyway, enough moping on my post - here is my beautiful baby Beckett! :heart:

Only me I swear! So if you remember a few years ago someone broke into the van and stole everything including my purse. I've been very good about not leaving it in there anymore up until school started a couple weeks ago, I've found myself leaving it in between drop offs and sometimes forgetting to bring it in at the end of the day (yeah I know STUPID!). Well guess what happened last night (of course happening on a night i left it in there).... yup someone broke into the damn van AGAIN and stole my purse. UNBELIEVABLE!! It's the only thing they took this time. It's a freaking old mini van, what the hell is so appealing about my pile of crap?????

Unfortunately this time we weren't lucky enough as they went to town on my bank debit card last night. Thankfully there wasn't much in there but its all gone. Well except for a whopping $7.11. As of this morning they hadn't used my credit card either. So I got to spend the better part of my day filling out police reports and dealing with the bank's fraud department. Yeah that was a load of fun!!

So the genius idiots that they were went down the street to the Shell gas station and filled up their car. Then the female actually went into the store. So the police have them on video using my card. Too bad the outside pump cameras were garbage, they could just barely make out the car - but they have very clear footage of the female inside. I spoke with the officer late this afternoon and she said they think they might know who they are, so thats some good news.

I just can't believe it happened to me again! Complete lesson learned this time, I will never leave my purse in another car EVER again :censored:

Can't believe it's finally almost time to find out if this is another boy (we seem to make those pretty well, huh? :giggle:) or girl #2!!!

My appt is on Saturday at 10:30 EST, it's 2 hours away in PA so I won't be back to update until 2pm or so.

I was taking Lydia Pinkham (6 tabs a day) for about 3 weeks before I O'd, which supposedly can help sway for a girl.
In terms of symptoms, this was an oddity pregnancy - I had almost no m/s at all, which I had with all the others, but lots of headaches early on and otherwise it's closer to Macy's - super fast hair growth, the hair on my arms is darker and longer but more scarce; weird chloasma on my chest (I only ever got that when on BCP and when preggo with Macy); super moody and bordering on PMDD-like LOL. Cravings have varied - fish sandwiches and chocolate milk in the beginning (ewww!!), now mostly sweeter things - pancakes, chocolate, hot cocoa, and coffee (another Macy throwback LOL).

I took a few of the silly urine gender tests - Intelligender at 14 weeks said BOY (I took 2 of those with Dawson and they both said GIRL lol), Best Baby Gender at 12 weeks said GIRL but then I took a second one at 14 weeks and it said BOY.

My NT nub could go either way - baby was really curled up so there is some angle, but it's not that much. The tech on InGender said if I twisted her arm she'd lean boy but really it is 50/50. I personally have found more confirmed girl nub pictures that look like mine than boy, but I think I'd only lean about 60/40 girl on the nub.

So.... Matt thinks it's a boy (and he's usually right LOL), I thought for the longest time it was a girl but lately am thinking boy. Still, I keep having annoying wishful girl signs.

Well we are now up to kid #4 that see's our GI doc - yup! It has been a long chaotic month for us for sure... urg! Long story but the end result is Emelyn has allergic colitis. She is highly allergic to dairy proteins. We ended up having to put her on a prescription elemental formula and up the calories to 24. I was attempting to pump while cutting out dairy and soy but it got to be too much for me, I'm really bummed but I've come to realize that it is the end result that matters and that's a healthy and happy Emelyn (and mom). She is doing amazing and I can not believe the difference in her (poor baby was so miserable!). She is so happy and smiling all the time, just like a normal baby :laugh. Everyone is really enjoying her (not that we didn't before - you know what I mean). She is even up to 8 lbs 15 oz which is awesome! Her poop is still all mucus and some blood (it beats the 15 green mucus all bloody ones she was having). The GI says it will probably be 2-3 weeks before she heals but could be as many as 6. Anyway she goes back next week Thursday for a followup.
