Sorry I haven't been able to get on here sooner to post this, I've had some really horrible things happening around here the past few days.
After much consideration I have decided to ask Tricia to take a leave from the board. I will not go into the personal details regarding my decision I will only say I did it with all of your best interests at heart and the decision was not easy! I will leave it up to her as to whether she wishes to share any further information outside the board.

I guess I should post this, since I can't get it off my chest . . . I don't really know what is going on . . . AT ALL, but from what I can gather, I don't really like it either.
I don't think Tricia has said or done ANYTHING bad enough to get kicked off the board and I believe that if we can't have disagreements and problems in our life sometimes, then I probably wont be coming back . . . And if that gets me banned for having an opinion, so be it, but I really don't want to be.
Tricia has been going through some very tough issues.. and I am very proud of her for the fact that she is dealing with them headon instead of surpressing them.. She can't help the things that are happening to her, it's called life and she is dealing with it.. I'm not really sure what started all of this but it sounds like an immature "taking sides" type thing and that is just awful. It is nice to have support from your family and friends in times of need, especially when you have done nothing but support them in the past in their times of need... You all have been like family to Tricia and Donna, I can't believe you would turn your back on her in her time of need and the rest of you sheep, blindly let her do so... You all know that Tricia's real family is not a big part of her life and she basically turns to you all for advice on a lot of things... I'm honestly hurt and I know she is as well...
I hope if any of you feel the way that I do, you will speak up because friends don't just give up on friends... blindly might I add... especially when the going gets tough...

I do not want to get in the middle of this, but let me say one thing. Most of us don't know what is going on and are not blind sheep letting people do things. Donna is the owner and whatever decision she makes is hers to make. Again, I do not know what is going on and I sure hope everything gets worked out. Without knowing anything I cannot take any "sides".

Everyone is entitled to have their opinion and voice it, we all have disagreements and as long as things are kept civily than I have no problems at all. Nobody is going to ban you for speaking up!

I guess your right, I am taking the sides of all the ladies on here that do not know the truth. Who are "blindly" asked to provide encouragement and support to someone, who so obviously needs it, without being informed of the seriousness of the situation. Its not fair to them and its not fair to me to allow that to happen! As the admin of this board I need to look out for EVERYONE. Ultimately this is a family/child oriented board not a depression site.
I have not turned my back on her nor have I asked/encouraged any of the ladies on here to do so, I have simply asked that she keep her relationships outside the board for now.
Should Tricia like to come back and give everyone an opportunity to make their own call as to what they are comfortable with by being completely honest and upfront about the situation then I will leave that up to her - she has my contact info.

Seriously? Is this also not a "get mad and vent about your boss board?" or a "my job sucks and I need to find a new one board?" Life throws you lots of curves, depression, health issues, life outside your home all effect your family. Tricia has not asked, publicly on this board, for anything other than words of encouragement. She is not threatening to commit suicide, she has done no name calling. She is obviously frustrated, alone and angry and I know she has been hurt by someone on this board but she has in no way acted out on that publically for all to see on this board.
The comment that this board is "not a depression site" really, REALLy upsets me. So are there rules? Certain topics we can't discuss? Because depression is a part of my life too. It effects my family and my kids, and this is a child/family oriented board, right? I didn't choose depression, but I have to deal with it, and sometimes I need words of encouragement too.
