They aren't doing so well. I say they, because as of last Friday their house was in foreclosure, and they are talking to attornys about bankrupcy...and their house won't be protected. The bankrupcy will halt the foreclosure, but when it goes through, it will resume.
Jodi has been REALLY sick again. She is doing vitamin c treatments that they are paying out of their pockets for. Their credit cards are maxed from these treatments. She won't leave the house. She cant leave the house...she is just in to much pain.
Nate is having a really hard time watching his wife die. She won't allow hospice or anyone in. She won't go back to the dr, cause they dismissed her for non payment(they can't afford too, no insurance) she won't go back to the hospital, because she owes them over 300k, and she's embarressed. This whole thing embarresses her.
My MIL had a BBQ on Friday, and I had met one of her friends before...she's an RN. I was telling her about Jodi, and she said it sounds like she only has about 6 months or a year left. She told me to have Nate call her, and she will treat Jodi for free. She is the head of a home health agency. She's going to get them a case worker(which the hospital never did) and get anything she is elidgable for. I asked Nate why she wasn't recieveing disability, and he said no one ever told them about it. This woman is going to get all that going, and try to see if she will let them in to help her, and try to get hospice in there for at least Nate.
They don't even have money to eat, or pay their power bill. He has no work coming in, and their bills are jsut KILLING them.
Ok, sorry to put such a depressing story on here. Please keep them in your prayers.
