Hi, I know I've been an awful, nonexistant buddy

I've really slacked on my message boards lately.

We are all doing great! I will post some new pics of my other kiddos soon - Dawson had a re-eval on speech and cognition and he is measuring pretty much on target with typical kids his age right now... in communicative he's actually measuring ahead (maybe he impressed the ST with his perfect imitations of "hi" and "hello"

)
Just wanted to give a little update for anyone wondering - everything came together incredibly fast for us (like USCIS only taking SIX DAYS to get us our approval - most people wait up to 4 months!

) and our dossier is all ready and state-certified.
We are FedExing it to Belgrade tomorrow morning!!

We are still hoping to travel the second half of September, but I think the second half of October is more likely as the Ministry officials will not review dossiers before September 1st

I hate that she has to wait that much longer, but with the prices of plane tickets skyrocketing it at least gives us some more time to save and raise funds. We applied for a grant and are

that we get it.
We've also decided definitely that we are taking her to CPMC in San Francisco for her heart surgery, using robotics for a less invasive procedure and less complications/easier recovery. We spoke a couple times to the surgeon (I was SO impressed that he called us back personally!) and he seems awesome and assured us he will get her in right away.
Our facilitator sent us a couple new pics of our little sweetie - she's almost as chubby as Dawson!
