It's official, I'm a post whore!!
|
Okay, so I know I should have posted this earlier but I start my new job tomorrow! I will be doing what I was doing before I had Brody which was working at an Attorney's Office.. closing loans and processing titles.. I know lol.. but I am SO SO SO sad about leaving Brody.. Every person I have interviewed for babysitting has been awful, just awful. And anyone who is good, I can't even think about because they want WAY too much money
So Mark is staying home tomorrow.. We have no idea what we will be doing with Brody the rest of the week though, especially since we had to go to the Doctor on Saturday and he has Hand/Foot/Mouth Disease, argh! We had never even heard of it but apparantley he got it from one of the kids at Sunday School.. It's not too bad though, luckily it is just affecting his mouth BUT that means the little guy doesn't want to eat anything, nor will he take a bottle.. All he wants to do is nurse nurse nurse AND I start my new job in the morning! So, Mark and I decided that I would go but if he needed me for anything he would call me and we would go from there. My Mom is coming next Tuesday for a week so at least she will be able to watch him then.. It is so hard trying to find someone who trust your life (baby) with.. How did you girls deal with it? And how did you find someone? I've been looking through craigslist but so far it hasn't been going so well...Well, I should get heading to bed.. I don't want to be tired for my first day! Wish me luck and hopefully Brody and Daddy will have a good day without me ![]() |

If Ty says it's big, then trust him - it's BIG!

I agree with Emma, check out local churches or maybe there is some one in your church that would watch him. Its so hard to find some one you trust with your children. I hope he feels better soon. HFM can be pretty nasty. |

Men Just Love To Stare At My Monster Nipples!!!

The first place I would look is at any sahm from your church. Maybe one would enjoy some extra money while she is staying at home with her little one. Maybe they could do it temporarily until you find something more permanent.
I hope you enjoy your first day. ![]() |

Good Luck on your first day of work! I hope it worked out well!
Finding good DC is a PITA. I interviewed 2 SAHM who did DC and when I got home and told DB who the one was he said he refused to let me take DD there because he worked with that person's son and delivered Pizza's there for lunch and he didn't like the looks of it. And even with the one I went with, there are things I don't like. We have a family resource center in our county that will send you a list of places that do DC. Most were licensed. Do you have anything like that? If you go to church or belong to any groups, you could ask for references for daycares as well. |
