Sorry I haven't around as often as usual either.. Trying to find a job in a market where everyone else is trying to find a job too is exhausting! I also have been a little depressed lately.. DH isn't making any money, I feel horrible that I haven't found a job yet to help bring in some money... I am having a hard time trying to find a quality affordable sitter... and I am regretting not finishing school when I had the chance.. I was going to go back this summer but we absolutley cannot afford it right now and I feel empty inside.. all of my friends are graduated from college and in nice jobs.. and here I am, can only find a job that will pay for the sitter and a little extra and that's about it..

But onto the happier news.. Brody started crawling this past week! He is all over the place now! Also, I had just gotten done telling him that if he didn't have any teeth, I wouldn't let him have birthday cake at his first birthday party.. and the next day, he had his first tooth coming in! It has been a big week.. I can't believe my little baby is growing up so fast! He also isn't drinking as much milk from me anymore and I am definitely noticing it in my waist.. Momma needs to start cutting back!

I know the feeling. I should have gotten my MLS degree a couple years ago when I was thinking about it and then I could get a job making close to what I am now vs looking at a major pay cut. Though hopefully not. But this might actually be a good time to look at going back to school for you. There are tons of grants and scholarships for undergraduate degrees and if no money is coming in, you will qualify for the need based ones.

I'm so sorry you are feeling down I can understand your frustration with not finishing school, but if you can't find anything that pays more than the sitter then it might be worth checking in to grants and stuff. I will tell you that it is no fun paying back student loans, but if you can find grant money to help you guys coast through this rough patch that would be an option worth exploring.
