Equal Opportunity Offender Hussy!
|
I'm officially averaging an "A" in both of my classes for the semester. I am SO happy - especially after taking a nearly 10 year hiatus.
Also, daycare is keeping Noah until 11 PM tonight. They host a parents' night out the first Friday of each month for $15 (for 4 hrs care). They feed him dinner and put him to sleep. Waahoo! |

Great job, Val!!
It's so difficult to get back into the swing of being both student and parent. I have done it successfully (after a 12 year hiatus!) but I am not working. You are a great inspiration to me! I don't think I could manage to raise a kid, work a "real job" AND go to school. Kudos to you!!!!!!!!!!!! =) |

After the nanny (nanny number THREE) became unreliable, we transitioned into a really elite childcare "academy," called Star Child Academy. They make the preschoolers wear uniforms!! I love how they push, push, push Noah. In fact, at 21 months (18 corrected), they're upset that he still uses a sippy. He's supposed to use an open cup only. OMG! ![]() Of course, life happens.....so keep your fingers crossed that this arrangement works!! |

Because I said so, that's why!

Well - 36 years ago they didn't have sippy cups - I don't think they did anyway - and all the kids in my family were drinking out of open cups by 12 months. That was considered normal then. I think th sippy is more of a convenience to parents and lets kids drag drinks with them vs being limited to drinking in the kitchen.
